Hotel Brita Stuttgart

This was my second time in the Brita hotel and both the Times where great, the rooms are nice and clean, the staff is professional and nice and they understood us even if we could not speak english very well.

One night business trip, selected this hotel for location which was perfect and price which was reasonable. Very large room, good bed, standard bathroom, no complaints. Restaurant was not operating during my stay however front desk was able to offer a number of recommendations nearby. The bar was a pleasant surprise with an outstanding selection of whiskey - not just single malts, also bourbon and rye. Breakfast was standard fare, good coffee, nice selection of bread and rolls. Parking can be a bit limited and you need to pay attention as to when a pay ticket is required.

We came to Stuttgart out of curiosity about family historical places in the vicinity. Brita Hotel staff enhanced this experience in ways I never imagined possible. It wasn't just that the comfortable, quiet, modern but remarkably charming room and atmosphere made us feel relaxed, energized, and at home quickly. It was also the meal served at an odd hour, the excellent advice from people who clearly know the area well, and (my favorite) one of the staff doing a thorough search and educating himself about the Sinti Roma inhabitants of the area pre-WWII in response to my (very) casual question about this group of people. I now know that there is a memorial at the Nord Bonhof for the people who were taken to the camps--probably from my distant cousins. I also learned that my Mom's comments about the (again pardon my spelling) "gemuchlichite" culture of this city and region are akin to the Zen art on the wall in one of the halls. Going full circle, the Sinti Roma came from the part of the world where Buddha lived and did his thing-- so I suspect these same folks may have left the peaceful gemuchlichite mark on Brita's culture.

Nice, sympatic hotel, next to S Bahn station. Quite area, some local restaurants nearby. Breakfast is typicall for a german hotel - not bad choice (and I like when the owner gives you coffee in the morning ;) Even is not in the centre of Stuttgart, there is a free ticket for all public transport lines, for the hotel guests and the hotel is in less than 100 meter form S Bahn. I can recommend it further

A traditional inn that shows its history for at least a century. Expect no surprises, a human size and a good location in the city center and close to the railway station. For all the days you stay you get a free ticket for all public transportation in Stuttgart.

Hotel is too expensive. Wifi is not free. Breakfast is good. Walking distance from Obertukheim S-BAHN station. U-Bahn Bus station is also nearby. Medical shop is nearby. Don't forget your key inside the room. I forget my key inside the room & when I requested an old man (at the reception) to open it, he told me to sleep on the road. I don't think he was kidding. Anyways other person from the staff opened the room.

The hotel is close to the S-bahn station, which makes it ideal if you want to go around the city and more important they offer you free pass ( we can use the passes in all kind of public transport throughout Stuttgart). breakfast offers was good. Hotel people are also very friendly. and they maintain the rooms very clean.

The hotel is close to the S-bahn station, which makes it ideal if you have business meetings at the Daimler plants in the area. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the breakfast is excellent. On top of that, they also offer you a card for free travelling by public transit valid for the period you're staying. As for the cons, they don't offer you free wi-fi. It's possible to request it, but I found it rather expensive.

The hotels was chosen for its price and location. It is a good value for a place to stay. It is convenient to the S-bahn and local buses. Downtown Stuttgart is just a few minutes away and the regional trains can be accessed heading toward Ulm and Tubingen with convenient transfers without going into the city. The whole facility is kept clean, was recently renovated and is well staffed. The breakfast was one of the better ones on our trip.
