The Hermitage Kanatal

Location is good. The hotel is surrounded by mountains and Jungle. Well behaved and helpful staff. Tasty food. Special thanks to the manager, Mr. Ranveer, who also managed to serve us traditional delicacies like Jhanhora ki Kheer, Gehut daal etc.

Staff were courteous and smiling all the time. Located right on the main highway so its good for people who dislike driving/walking up steep slopes.

There were no good views of the landscape from the property, atleast from my suite. Suite seemed overpriced. But room rate is subjective so thats only my view.

Location was excellent. Food quality was very good. Overall property was fine.

Room looked very old and not renovated eg. walls were not finished well and windows were looking old. Requested for cleaning of room but by the time we came back (4-5 hours) it was not done.

The staff and location was the only thing worth writing about

The hotel / resort did not match our expectations, building was very old , room was very small , room interiors were very bad, roof and wall panels looked as if they were about to fall on us, the best was the staff behavior & service we know at this height arranging food is difficult but still food was very expensive personally not worth what we were charged. we request you to kindly in future click site photos yourself & do not rely on property owner inputs

Excellent stay. Very hospitable and knowledgeable hosts (Suman and husband) and extremely helpful staff. The food and conversation are great, the views are nice and the hotel is conveniently located from forest trails and a lovely sunset point. Overall, we had a very nice stay for three nights at the Hermitage in Kanatal.
