Days Inn by Wyndham Yakima

Being loyal and frequent occupants of days inn in another town, we found ourselves booking a room for a few days here in Yakima. The front desk was friendly and very helpful for the most part, especially at check inn. On the second or third day we had to have our key had to be remade. I stood in line for forever as another guest that was living there temporarily asked the same questions repeatedly. As I was waiting, another man came through the front doors, saw me and sat down behind me waiting. Finally front desk stepped aside from the guests looking to upgrade with a bunch of questions to help fix my key. She asked what room I was in to program them And I told her not thinking anything about it. About 5 mins. After entering our room and going about our activities my boyfriend and I heard to sound of a key being scanned and our door began to open. My dog went off as the man that came into the lobby entered my room, closed the door behind him, turned around and looked at my boyfriend and I, said "it's you!" And turned around and left. I was in shock and felt like a number of terrible things could have just happened had my boyfriend not been there with me or both of us had been gone from the room. Front desk looked at the footage and claimed that our door was left ajar and he just pushed it open but that it was odd that he closed it behind him in any case. She informed me he hadn't gotten a key or been staying there he only told front desk that he was dropping something off. She told me since my keys were remade any of the old ones wouldn't work anymore if he found one which eased me not at all as he had absolutely just used a key to gain entrance anyways after they were redone. I was unrelaxed the rest of the stay. Wasn't offered to love fooms or anything for the grievance. The. The next day as I was leaving my room to walk my dog as I was closing my door a man walking down the hall looked into my room as he walked passed and stopped, asked me about the dirty towels piled on my floor and questioned me about why they were there and what was on them. I felt like my privacy was out the window and like I was a housekeeper or staff exiting the room rather than a guest. The breakfast wasn't very good either as the eggs were cold and crunchy..

This location is literally in the ghetto, very shady people walking around all night it was very scary

The room immediately hit us in the face with the smell of cigarettes! Our daughter has asthma so we always check for smoke free and they said they were … DOUBTFUL OF THAT

check in went smoothly and the associate was helpful and courteous.
