"Reasonable hotel spoilt by unruly children"

The hotel had reasonable facilities and was comfortable

we were disturbed by groups of young children (presumably sporting groups) unsupervised by their parents who ran rampant up and down the corridors until 10pm, only stopped by the duty manager standing on the floor to ensure the noisy kids retreated to their rooms. The behaviour of the parents was shocking. Totally no responsibility. When the duty manager tried to engage with them to control their kids, they gave him a hard time.

"Basic hotel, not good value for the price charged"

Good position, staff friendly

No lift to upper floor. There was a washbasin in the bedroom separate from the bath/wc. Breakfast was mediocre and ended at 9.30am on a Saturday. We felt the whole stay was not good value for money considering the very basic facilities provided.
