I had a wonderful stay at the Brookstreet Hotel. The guestrooms were spotless and beautifully renovated, making our stay extra comfortable. We also enjoyed the restaurant and the amazing atmosphere in the Jazz Bar—great food, great music, and great service. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely be back!

From the afternoon desk clerk who was excellent to the bartender at Jaz bar and listening the the blind musician who was excellent to the housekeeper. Everyone made our anniversary very memorable. The brook hamburger was delicious but l was disappointed with the duck panini,tasteless,dry and bland.

Very nice place to have your party and stay all at once!!! Food was great and more activities to do if you stay longer, pool, spa, golf!

My grandson and I stay at the Brookstreet when my wife has her ladies Christmas party. We always enjoy the pool, the arcade and our little getaway. My grandsons favourite hotel!

Every essentials are provided. Sober yet luxurious atmosphere in the room. Large bay window. Natural and artificial lighting is perfect.

I would make sure you write down the person's name you spoke to to make the reservation as well as notes in case there is any mix up on the cost of your sray at any hotel.

Great for family trips where people can meet gather and socialize very nice spacious rooms nothing more

I have stayed here several times. It's a lovely property with a great restaurant and a lovely lounge with great and patient waitstaff. The location however was key really for our purpose. Pillows were awesome! Rooms clean and updated. The underground parking is great too, especially in colder weather! And dog friendly!

very good but the room was cold and it was difficult to change the temperature. The room is beautiful and the bed is so confortable.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. Some things were good, but overall for a resort, I found the hotel to be aging, and not as fresh as it could be. If you can get a good deal, it's fine. But, I stayed at the Homewood suites in the same Kanata neighborhood a few nights later and found it a much better bang for my buck, (newer hotel, kitchenette, free brekky, no parking fee). The good: - The bed was very comfortable, and sheets/towels seemed of good quality. - Good water pressure/temp. - Lighted magnifying mirror in bathroom is a nice touch. - Nicely designed room - Nice views from room - Reception staff were very professional - Located in quiet business park far from noisy traffic - Underground parking, (if you are staying in cold months) The not so good: - The parking cost was not advertised when I booked. Not a deal breaker, but the lack of transparency is frustrating. - My shower had missing/cracked grout and mold growing along the calking - There was only one washcloth included with the towels. - The room did not come with a bathrobe, which I expect in a resort hotel. - The room was cool upon arrival, (not an issue), but when I turned on the heat, it seemed to be unable to go above a very median temperature like there was a governor on the thermostat, (despite my trying to get the room warmer). - No ice machine, (or ice bag) to go along with the ice bucket - I wanted to use the hotel pool/spa assuming it was indoor being this is Ottawa, but it was too cold/far from room to attempt. Overall, the hotel could be brought back to resort standard with a little investment, but at this time, I was not able to recommend to a local friend who asked if it would be a good place for a staycation.
