Brindos, Lac & Château

Terrible manager incredibly rude. Terrible service

Very nice hotel in authentic basque style. Proximity to the lake is much appreciated and gives charm when dinning on the terrace.

Cadre exceptionnel, chambre spacieuse, propre et confortable, sans moquette, bien insonorisée. Séjour court et très agréable

The Chateau was beautiful and in a peaceful surrounding area with a lake and a pool. Rustic style rooms were provided and brilliant were on hand to help with everything I needed. It is linked to a fantastic restaurant (make sure to book in advanced) which has great food and wine in a somewhat romantic setting

Etablissement de qualité avec un personnel souriant et prévenant. Une table qui mérite d'être connue. En conséquence que de bons moments au Château de Brindos.

写真で知ってはいましたが、とても素敵なホテルでした。インテリアも凝っていて、ちょっとモロッコ風なものも。歴史あるお屋敷をホテルにしたような感じです。古い建物ですが、水回りなどは新しく改装されていて、快適そのものでした。お茶のサービスなどもあり、ゆったり過ごせました。

What a lovely setting and our room was fabulous. The staff were really welcoming and pleasant - with one exception. The restaurant staff seemed very dour and not friendly at all. No help with the language and very pointed in their disapproval if you did something wrong - for example when my husband poured his sauce on his own meal! The food in general is exceedingly expensive €26 per head for a fairly average continental breakfast. We had dinner in the restaurant as we were late arriving and it was very expensive. They charged us €4.50 for a pat of butter - I think that is outrageous and petty. Overall, though I thought the place was lovely just a shame about the prices.

we have stayed at over 50 five stars hotels, booked mainly with Expedia,but this hotel was not up to the Standard of Relais and Chateaux,as it is lacking the attention to detail,that you expect of a 5star Hotel . This also is the first ever review that I have done.
