Deer Park Inn

The hotel is clean, and the staff are very helpful. I would like to extend my appreciation to all staff of Howard Johnson in Red Deer. My daughter left her stuff toy. I called the hotel and they mentioned that they found it.. They shipped the stuff toy to our house here in Calgary via Canada Post. Its very touching that even small thing like my daughter's toy made it home by their personal care to their guest. This means a lot to us. Thanks Again!!!

Staff was great

At night it was noisy but that is not the hotel's fault. You could hear the traffic on the hiway.

Great to have simple breakfast with toast, cereal, milk, juice and coffee. TV in our room didn’t work. Mini fridge was cold and bathroom was clean. Good for a stopover.

Along highway so can be noisy especially early mornings

I like that the location is easy to access from the highway. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Parking is just outside the room.

The room is non-smoking, but it has a strong cig smoke smell. The couches in our room have stains which I don't want to know the cause. The aircon is just a blower and can't cool the room. The breakfast menu says it is just cereals, toast and fruits so we didn't avail it. Key cards do not work every re-entry but got it fixed by the receptionist every time.
