Hotel Casafrassi Wine Resort

This was such a cute vineyard hotel to stay in! It was very quaint and had tons of charm! The only complaint would be the smell of cigarette smoke (I’m from the US and I’m not used to it). It could also be a bit noisy, but that’s to be expected with B&B type properties. All in all, it was a wonderful place!

Incredibile villa nel cuore del Chianti, appena arrivati in struttura avremmo preferito un benvenuto molto più accogliente.ampi spazi verdi in piscina davvero stupenda, camera spaziosa e ben arredata; ho dormito davvero bene. Con qualche accorgimento si potrebbe davvero toccare la perfezione.

Die Anlage entspricht nicht dem Niveau eines 4-Sterne- Hotels. Das Doppelzimmer war dunkel und sehr klein. Man hat uns dann in ein Familienzimmer umquartiert, das leider nicht besonders sauber war, gesprungene Fliesen im Bad, rostige Heizkörper. Das Hotel liegt ca 10 km vom Stadtkern entfernt. Es gibt in dem Nebengebäude ein Restaurant, in dem auch mal bis in die Morgenstunden laut gefeiert wird. Unser Familienzimmer lag in dem gleichen Gebäude wie das Restaurant. Kein abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Landschaftlich schön gelegen, aber ohne Auto sehr einsam.

Schönes altes Gebäude. Aussicht sehr schön. Pööl O.k. Frühstück könnte mehr Auswahl haben. Brot wurde schon trocken serviert. Man muß bei Ankunfteinen Zettel ausfüllen, was man zum Frühstück essen möchte. Dusche an den Rändern und im Einstieg sehr schimmelig und eng.Essser läuft beim Duschen ins Badezimmer. Toilette hat häßliche Streifen, innen. Insgesamt ist das Bad renovierungsbedürftig. Mahlzeiten im Restsurant teuer und kleine Portionen. Fernseher im Zimmer mur italienische Sender.

Landschaftlich sehr schön, Pool auch super!

La struttura, che si fregia di essere un 4 stelle, è situata in un posto bellissimo distante dalla strada per cui pace e la tranquillità sono di sicuro il punto forte. Purtroppo mi è stata assegnata una camera che non era quella che avevo scelto (Expedia permetteva la selezione delle camere in base anche ai mq per i quali proponeva prezzi diversi), in più la pulizia della camera era approssimativa (capelli nel bagno e nella doccia), la TV non funzionava. Alla mia contestazione mi è stata proposta una camera che probabilmente non veniva aperta da anni, impolverata e con un forte odore di chiuso, oltre che buia. Da qui abbiamo deciso di tenere la nostra, previa pulizia (una gentile ragazza della reception ha passato un aspirapolvere). Per l'inconveniente ci è stato proposto uno sconto che non è stato applicato e un aperitivo offerto che al check out mi è stato chiesto di pagare, salvo poi, alla mia contestazione, toglierlo dal conto. Personalmente sono rimasto deluso.

Room was too small. Shower did not drain well.

One of the worst experiences ever! We planned to stay for two nights, ending our 7 days vacation in Chianti , but ended up leaving the “hotel” after 10 minutes. The room reminded of your worst nightmare - the first thing we saw was a huge spider crawling on the bathroom floor and a lizard in the ceiling. The toilet looked like someone used it two weeks ago and decided not to flush - nor had the staff cleaned it - ever. The shower was in a bad condition with mold on the walls and ceiling and we would never have used it. The floor in the bedroom was swollen from the moisture in the room. The entire building and surroundings are completely run down. When we saw the room we immediately went down to the reception and pointed this out and asked for another room. The owner and what seemed to be her son said we could have another room - with an extra charge of 50 EUR per night - which we of course said no to. They refused to pay us anything back or cancel the booking and claimed they have a business to run and that we need to understand their side…..what a joke. Worst customer service we have ever seen! After many discussions they gave us 120 EUR back - from a total of 300 EUR. We took the money and ran as fast as we could. We recommend you STAY AWAY from this accommodation - it deserves maximum 1 star. The only good thing with this place was the very helpful young girl in the reception who really tried her best to help us.
