Hotel Casafrassi Wine Resort

Hotel was warm inviting, comfortable quiet. Food was great - just what you imagine in Tuscany. Will definitely come back to stay longer.

La situation géographique de l'hôtel permet de rayonner dans le Chianti et de visiter les principales villes de la région (Florence/Pise/Sienne). Le lieu est propice au repos le plus total, la piscine est un plus.

Das Hotel/Weingut entsprach unseren Erwartungen nach einer "toskanischen Unterkunft" in vollen Maße. Es ist kein modernes Hotel, sondern eines mit Charakter, sowohl bezüglich der Gesamtanlage wie auch in der Gestaltung innen. Bei den hohen Sommertemperaturen tut das abendliche Bad im Swimmingpool richtig gut, der jederzeit in einem ordnungsgemäßen Zustand war. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, zugleich angenehm zurückhaltend. Das Früstück war für ital.Verhältnisse vielfältig und vollkommen i.O. , wenn auch gleichbleibend und ohne große Abwechslung. Hätte mir allerdings einen guten ital. Kaffee gewünscht ! Begleitet wird das Hotel von einem sehr guten Restaurant, im Sommer auf der natürlichen Terrasse vor dem Haus, mit leckerem Essen und sehr freundlichem Service.

Lugnt och harmoniskt ställe. Bra parkering, bra pool, mycket bra och prisvärd mat och en helt ok frukost. Saknade att få se lite om vingården men kan varmt rekommendera vinprovningen de har.

We left after 3 days in as the hotel (we weren’t meant to stay for 6) as quite obviously hasn’t been updated in about 20 years. We had ants in our room and mosquitos came through the air conditioning. The ‘Double’ rooms were tiny, even the superior ones were when we asked if we could move rooms. We saw 3 others in total, all of which were tiny and needed an update. The restaurant for lunch and dinner is also massively overpriced but they have a captive audience, it would take over an hour to walk to the nearest town (and 15mins in a car). This is not a 4* hotel.

Lugnt, avskilt. Vackra omgivningar. Otroligt god, vällagad mat på restaurangen på kvällen till rimliga priser. Härlig,glad och välkomnande personal. Fint poolområde och stor trädgård. Gamla anrika byggnader, men ändå rum fräscha och rena. Ända minus att restaurangen inte öppen till lunch och inga restauranger på gångavstånd. ( fanns dock toast och sallad). Tio minuters bilväg till mysig by med restauranger och caféer. Kan varmt rekommendera detta boende.

Excellent hotel and the only shame was we had only booked one night! I’d gladly return for a longer break. From the moment i had booked the hotel they were more than happy to answer any questions before we arrived. We had a last-minute mix up with a car hire which meant we had to travel by bus to the nearest station which was a 30minute drive away. Within minutes of me asking if there was anything we can do to arrive at the hotel, they had arrange a pick-up from the station upon out arrival. Friendly staff, wine tasting was superb (from what I remember) and for us, it was a special day as i had proposed (I had made the staff aware prior) and they done everything they possibly could to ensure our stay was perfect. To top it off, we had missed breakfast the next morning but the receptionists inisted that i go to the buffett area (even after it had closed) and take whatever food back to the room with us before we departed! Fantastic location! Amazing, freindly staff! And i would easily recommend this hotel to anybody!
