Motel 6 Springfield, VA - Washington DC Southwest

The property is very nice. just the staff is really rude came in for a late check-in. front desk agent said my reservation was not paid and that she couldn't find it. she asked me to call Expedia because that's who I did the reservation. once Expedia had called her, she said she found it. it took an hour for her to process the payment. saying she did not know how to do this. so we waited until she was able to check us in. and constantly showing her receipts payment process.

I am enjoying myself with peace and quiet vibes. Close to everything i need, as well as close to my job. I just signed up for 5 more nights,until Monday morning, and hopefully i can extend a little longer knowing i just lost my housing. Thank God for Motel 6 and your assistance with a great price. Hope you can find me more reasonable price too stay longer. Thank you

Great location and close to everything

There was a major leak in my ceiling of one of the rooms. It was dripping water into the room throughout the night. I went down to the front office to switch rooms and was told to come back in the morning. I used all of my towels to soak up the puddle forming on the floor. I had to leave the TV on to drown out the noise of the water dripping. I took video and picture of the leak. This was obvious a ongoing issue as the ceiling looked like it was previously patched. She was unable to move and told me to come back in the morning. I went down to the lobby around 8 am and she said she would call my phone when a room was available. She never called. I went back down to the lobby later that night as we were out of the hotel sightseeing throughout the day and was unable to switch rooms. Upon checking out I was told that for the inconvenience I can reach out to the booking party for a 1 night refund.

Clean rooms and hallways smell nice. The staff clean and vaccum often.

Great value clean rooms and building. Nice scent.
