It was clean, and the staff was very friendly

Honestly, everything was fine. The only thing maybe is the pool was a little small because there was a birthday party going on at the same time as our stay.

Tesha, the one at the reception was friendly and genuine. We appreciate her.

At first, Tesha, theone at the reception was very friendly and welcoming, which gave us a good first impression. Unfortunately, our experience changed after an incident that happened during our stay. While at the pool area, my partner sat on a plastic chair that suddenly broke on the side. As he tried to prevent himself from falling backward and hitting his head on the metal edge near the window, the broken part of the chair pierced into the side of his body, leaving bruises and causing pain in his chest muscles. Although he was able to stand afterward, he continued feeling pain throughout the night. Once he was able to get up, he immediately went to the reception desk and reported the incident. The reception staff informed us that they would take care of it and notify the managers, so we did our part by properly reporting what had happened that same night. What also made the situation upsetting was the embarrassment he experienced when some people nearby laughed after seeing him fall. The next morning, we spoke with the general manager to follow up on the incident. At first she listened, but as the conversation continued, her attitude became dismissive and condescending. Instead of discussing a resolution or showing concern, she told us that we were “free to check out,” which made us feel unwelcome rather than supported as paying guests. What disappointed us most was feeling that our concerns were minimized. The manager commented that because my partner was standing, nothing serious had happened, but she is not in a position to medically determine that he was completely fine. The fact that he did not require emergency services does not mean there was no injury or pain involved. In addition to the incident, the condition of the room also raised concerns. We discovered excessive dust underneath the room phone while trying to figure out why there was no dial tone.

The location was good.

The building smelled old and musty. There were ants in our room and staff stated they’d have maintenance look into it after we left.

The receptionist tried her best to help us, even though she couldn't. She gave us a discounted rate for our trouble.

The pool was dirty. The mattress was kind of broken. I did my reservation through booking.com and it was not a pleasant experience between them and the staff at the hotel. I had to pay for my room twice, I am waiting for my refund from booking.com now.

Staff was so very friendly and willing to help in anyway.

Nothing actually, everything was fine. Only bad part was I paid to stay until 12 but ended up leaving at 1030 anyways . Wasted $10

Lack of warm food selection

Staff were courteous and the hotel was clean. Price was very affordable.

We chose the hotel as it had a hot tub, but it was actually a lukewarm tub.
