Not only was our room sticky, it was also falling apart. Drywall tape was falling off the ceiling. The bathroom door would not open and close properly because it would get caught dragging on the floor. The bathroom tile did not meet up with the wall. It also did not have a vent fan. The entire hotel felt like it was leaning. Everything needed to be resealed. There were stains and dirt on the room chair. The staff shut the doors to tge breakfast area while people were still getting food. If we could have gotten our money back we would have went elsewhere. If you like sticky, disgusting hotels that cost that of a decent one, this is the hotel for you.

The front desk told me absolutely no changes. Than I spoke with the manager and he was delightful and changed the room on the spot. Thank you to him. It made our stay 100 percent wonderful.

"Self Service Required"

First world issue I know and I really hate to be that guy, but the experience this week has been quite a treat that l had to share. We checked in on a Thursday and by Sunday our room had not been cleaned once (other guests were having the same experience) despite multiple requests and assurances. Mind you it was graduation weekend at the university of Michigan and we were being charged luxury hotel rates. Anyway, I inquired several time about housekeeping and each each shift the desk clerk has the same answer and we would have to speak with Brandon Garmyn who apparently serves as the manager in abstentia since he seems to never be on property to address issues. I was told Sunday evening he was on property but left at 1 pm without calling or assuring us he would deal with the issue; can you imagine such willful dereliction of duty by the person ultimately in charge of a hospitality facility? Clearly he just doesn't care. Don't know his issues but clearly not a role he should be entrusted with by Hilton or the licensee? Anyway be warned and pass on

This is the second time we have stayed here, and it is a nice place to stay. The staff at the front desk was always courteous and kind. The snack selection is a little small.
