"It was awful and miserable.we left 3 hrs after checking in."

Didn't stay long enough for breakfast. Left 2 hrs after checking in.We changed rooms 3 times in 3 hrs. Finally had enough and went home.

We had to change rooms 3 times. The first had lots of mold in it. The next the air conditioner wouldn't cool the room. The 3rd they didn't even have the air on and put us upstairs there was no air in the hallway and the room never cooled down. After being miserable for another hr we gave up and drove home. Would never stay there again.

"Clean but not everything was working"

The facility and rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The ice maker wasn't working The facility was a bit off the beaten path.Breakfasty was a litte on the light side.

"This is the only hotel in Ava so this is it. This was a bereavement trip and was perfect for sleeping. Clean comfortab"

Nancy at reception the night we checked in was wonderful and welcoming. The cleaning staff the next morning were also very nice and the towels/wash clothes bright white and soft.

The smell of vinegar (I’m assuming they used for cleaning, also might be why the hotel appears to be rather dirty & dingy) and the front desk clerk the morning we checked out. Our keys stopped working before check out, so when I went to get my mom coffee and returned to the room I wasn’t able to gain access. My mom wears hearing aids so she couldn’t hear to let me in unless I was to bang on the door loud enough to wake all the guests. I returned to front desk and explained my key no longer worked, the clerked rolled her eyes and said “they programmed it wrong”, all she needed to do was a quick apology and reprogram it. Her gossiping (what she was doing when I approached) was more important I guess.

"Good"

Ice machine was busted, Carpet in hallway smelled moldy in the desk chair was broken and had a large stain on it. Microwave barely worked.

"It was fine for overnight stay so we could get to Mass."

Not Super 8 customers usually but this is literally the only hotel around. Room was comfortable and clean. Good location for visiting Ava and Mansfield.

Very light continental breakfast. Strange statue at front desk.
