Red Lion Hotel Ellensburg

The location of the hotel, the cleanliness and nice, fresh smell, the beds were very comfortable and the staff was very nice! Thank you!

I made reservations about 4 days in advance. We arrived about 5:30 day of checking in. We went to our room, either someone was still staying there or it was not cleaned. Towels on the floor by the door. The bed was not made. I went to the front desk and they were baffled and was having conversations between the two front clerks withno solutions. We left to go have dinner while they could figure it out. They called us and told us there was no rooms available to put us in because they were full and would issue a full refund. They did talk/texted their manager before calling. They didn't even to offer to call nearby hotels if any rooms were available for us. I told the clerk over the phone I would be back to have something in writing why we could not get a room and would get a full refund. When I arrived, they told me they are not allowed to put anything in writing. The manager would issue a refund not until Monday. She did offer a picture of the text from the manager. I did put only said something about being tired, sick and blood drawn. We ended up calling a hotel in Moses Lake, and hour and a half away to stay. They were extremely pleasant and wonderful customer service. I'm hoping there will be no problems getting our refund back from the Red Lion!!!!!

Toilet stopped up and no handhold for stepping out of knee high tub. Almost fell, but he'll onto door hinge. Great shower, tho.
