Marriott's Playa Andaluza

Great vacation fully amenitized!

We are quite familiar with this hotel, but for those who aren't, here are a few tips: 1) The hotel and grounds are impeccably maintained. 2) The rooms have a classic Spanish style (slightly dated) but are very well equipped. 3) The pools are excellent with plenty of options. 4) We were very satisfied with the self-catering apartments. 5) Everyone had a fantastic time. However, the restaurant, Solera, is a downside. The breakfast was among the worst we've experienced in a hotel. We tried it once and were extremely disappointed. Despite this, it shouldn't deter you from staying here because you can BBQ outside in the BBQ area, and there are shops nearby (Aldi is within walking distance). If you rent a car, there are plenty of activities in nearby towns like Estepona and Marbella. Overall, it was an excellent trip (again). Addressing the lack of a decent restaurant would make it perfect.

The apartments had everything we needed - the grounds were beautiful - access to many pools, market was well stocked with food to eat or cook, beach was nice, people weee very friendly!

sunbeds were new but not comfortable. It is sold as a vacation club - yet not all guests were vacation club owners - clearly you can book on booking.com and other web agencies. This makes a difference to the people staying here and their attitude to the facilities .

Brilliant hotel, spotlessly clean with great facilities and location. Would recommend this hotel to anyone

Its cleanliness and pools are very good.

Location, most of restaurants were on opposite side of a dual carriage way with very poor pavements especially with push chair. No shade on kids playground pool bar very expensive.

We had an excellent day. The apartment was very spacious, well equipped and clean. The facilities were excellent. We stayed in March and was a little wet so our teenagers enjoyed the indoor pool, paddle, crazy golf, table, tennis and gym. We used the on-site shop and restaurant for a pizza takeaway. we find it very handy to explore the local area. All the staff were particularly friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.
