Galiano Oceanfront Inn & Spa

We had a lovely relaxing weekend in this beautiful setting. The service from staff was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the deep bathtub. The fireplace made a rainy day cozy. Coffee and a breakfast basket with muffins, yogurt and muesli was appreciated and the fruit compote also went well with the cheese and crackers we brought with us. The room was appointed with 2 coffee cups and two wine glasses. We enjoyed our two meals in the lovely restaurant. We would be happy to return in the future.

There was nothing we didn’t like but would have appreciated soap/bath gel for the bathtub and body lotion. We did not use the spa (outdoor hot tub) or the gym (a yoga studio with equipment in a storage room). A guide to all the facilities and amenities would have been helpful as well.

very quiet - sometimes hard to find staff

We booked a King Room. The actual room size, view and layout is great.

The bathroom floor had underfloor heating in at some point, obviously for a good reason the ceramic tiles are very cold under your feet. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash is in a plastic container attached to the wall in the shower. The bathroom has a jetted tub but no body wash or soap . This is something I expected to use and couldn't because I did not bring my own bodywash, since its always supplied by the hotel. No coffee or tea in the room, so found a help yourself station down the hall. The mattress on the bed is awful, probably needs replacing. Ended up sleeping on the couch.

Beautiful, conveniently located. The staff are very helpful and kind. Let us check in early as the room was ready and kindly allowed us to hang out in the lounge after our checkout while we waited for our ferry. The room was cozy and quiet with a great view. Very dog friendly. Great little family winter getaway.

We got a different room than it said on booking but it was fine too. Large bathrooms. Great fireplace and views.

The fan in the room didn't work to circulate heat.

Right on the beach. Quiet. Well kept grounds.

Hottub was closed but we didn’t know until we were checked in. Breakfast was boring.
