ON/SET Alfama - Lisbon Cinema Apartments

It was well managed & clean, well equipped.It was close to so much stuff, easy to get around.

It was a lot of stairs! But that’s Lisbon! Lovely city!

Perfect location, just a few yards away from the famous tram 28, two excellent breakfast options around the block, walking distance to center, outstanding customer support from Rui Pedro who was extremely knowledgeable, warm, personal. Excellent value for the price. Housekeeping was extremely diligent and ready to help. Apartment was fully equipped and very comfortable with a window to a narrow cobblestone.

Everything. From the time I contacted On/Set office to book transportation to the apartment until the moment we left, the service was impeccable. Exactly what you should expect but most times not get. The staff, the apartment and the neighborhood were amazing

Could have used a little more space but it is Europe and that’s the way it is.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Der private Shuttle vom Flughafen war super (35€ dafür waren vielleicht ein bisschen zu viel). Rui Pedro war super zuvorkommend und Hilfsbereit! Er hat viele Tipps gegeben und jeden Tag kleine Aufmerksamkeiten hinterlassen. Das hat den Aufenthalt wirklich sehr angenehm gemacht.

The apartment was beautiful and very comfortable with everything you could need. It was so nice I almost felt like I didn’t want to go out sightseeing. But what set it apart was the exemplary service and hospitality from Rui Pedro and after my arrival, Anastasia. We exchanged some messages before arrival and everything was answered very promptly. On my arrival they allowed me to leave my bag early and the room was ready so I was able to go straight in. There was a welcome bottle of wine and snacks and every day a small treat. In addition, the bed was made every day and the bins emptied, which never happens with apartment rentals. And after the first day Rui Pedro checked to see if everything was in order. On checkout they offered a late checkout. I booked the ground floor because of the stairs. I normally don’t like ground floor apartments because they feel exposed but this had a private entrance and the sloping lane outside meant that the bedroom windows were higher than the street. It felt very private and secure. The amazing thing was on the last day I discovered that the battery for my luggage scale had died and there are only small shops around. I thought I would have to go 20 minutes or so to a larger supermarket and when in desperation I asked Rui Pedro if he knew somewhere close by where I could get a battery within 5 minutes he’d left a scale on my door! I travel a lot and I have never encountered this level of service. Thank you!

It was all perfect. The only thing I would suggest is getting a clothes airer (rack) to hang washing on as some people don’t like using dryers.
