ON/SET Alfama - Lisbon Cinema Apartments

The apartment was exceptional and in the best old town district of Alfama in Lisbon with its many cool winding streets and very close to Tram 28 tracks. The apartment itself is special but it was made even better by the helpfulness of the host Rui Pedro and personal touches with the cleaner leaving home baked pastries and cakes with a personal message everyday - see photo. Even left 2 x Pastel de Nata one day 🤤.

This is not a negative for the property because we knew what we were booking when we booked the top apartment. It’s just something to bear in mind if you don’t like stairs - there are lots! Mind you Lisbon may not be a good destination if you’re not up for a challenge of a few steps 😉. We loved it.

Our stay was fantastic. The staff was amazing from first communication to last communications and every day in between . Due to a cancelation we were able to stay in the apartment with a terrace which was a great way to unwind. The apartment is in a perfect location to explore the hills and streets of Lisbon. A tram 28 stop is right by the apartment (early bird gets the seats). It is the little things that make a difference, pods for washing machine and dishwasher and coffee maker were provided daily, the welcome on arrival and the daily treat after the staff refresh the apartment, and holding our bags until late in the day due to an evening flight. Individually they may not seem like much but the combination of the amazing staff and nuanced details made the difference between a good stay and a fantastic stay.

Absolument tout ! La situation géographique dans un quartier authentique de Lisbonne, la propreté, le confort, tout est neuf et bien pensé dans cet appartement de 2 chambres, où il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour un séjour très agréable. C’est vraiment silencieux, on n’entend rien de ce qui se passe dans les autres appartements. Rui Pedro, celui qui gère le tout, est très accueillant, réactif et vraiment très aidant. Bref, une équipe avec un service 5 étoiles vous attend à ON/SET Alfama !

Rien, tout était parfait, nous n’avons jamais reçu un service aussi satisfaisant dans un endroit aussi agréable.

Super Lage in der Altstadt, sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr nette Betreuung durch Rui Pedro und das Housekeeping, täglich kleine Überraschungen in der Unterkunft.

Auf der Strasse zur Unterkunft leider oft Müll (wofür der Anbieter aber nichts kann, oft gesehen in Lissabon)

We stayed at this accommodation (Apartment Fadista) for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It’s truly top-class and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Rui Pedro was a warm and welcoming host, and we were treated to a variety of thoughtful touches—from excellent local tips to wine, biscuits, and even Anastasia’s homemade cake. Thank you for everything!

It couldn't have been better

We had such a lovely stay in Lisbon! Great communication at check-in and check-out, and we really appreciated checking in on us during our stay to make sure everything was going well. The location is perfect, right by a tram stop which made getting around super easy. We also loved wandering the nearby streets - lots of quaint little restaurants just a short walk from the apartment. The apartment itself had everything we needed and felt really well thought out. It was clean and comfortable and the sweet treat waiting for us after a day exploring was such a thoughtful touch too! Would definitely recommend this place for anyone staying in Lisbon
