Excellent location. Large rooms with views. Boutique hotel vibes.

The restaurant/food orders were often backed up and seemed understaffed for the demand. Food quality is great, but the wait times were very long.

They charged the full cost of the room first then took another 150 dollar deposit after and it doesn’t get applied back till after you check out in which it’s still 48 hours later and they still haven’t released the 150. So whatever you think the cost of your room is going to be ensure you add 150 more to your total.

I found the W Hotel in Seattle to be overpriced and underwhelming. The room felt outdated and lacked character, with no refrigerator available to keep items chilled. The bathroom was missing basic supplies like towels, and it appeared they only provide extras upon request—suggesting cost-cutting measures. The hotel also lacks key amenities: there’s no pool, hot tub, or rooftop area. While the lobby bar, “The Living Room,” provides a social space, it didn’t make up for the overall lack of offerings. The staff were friendly but not particularly attentive. At around $400 per night, I believe there are much better options in Seattle. I wouldn’t recommend this property and don’t plan to return.

We had a wonderful stay and front desk staff was so helpful-we forgot our ear plugs at home and they were able to provide us with 3 sets so we could sleep! The edamame dumplings were a delish late night snack!

"A Consistently Comfortable Business Stay"

I’ve stayed at the W Seattle over 10 times for business, and it continues to be my go-to hotel in the city. The front desk team is consistently warm, professional, and genuinely hospitable — they always make check-in feel personal, not transactional. The rooms are reliably clean and comfortable, with great beds and all the essentials for a work trip. While the decor is starting to feel a bit dated compared to other W properties, everything is well-maintained and functional. Housekeeping does an excellent job every time. What really stands out is the in-room dining. The menu is thoughtful and high-quality, and the in-room dining staff are prompt, friendly, and efficient. It makes winding down after a long day that much easier. More than anything, I always feel at home when I stay here — a rare and appreciated feeling for frequent travelers. Looking forward to my next visit.

"Uncomfortable"

The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in, my back would have been better off sleeping in the floor or the sofa. Thin duvet, flat pillows and ripped sheet, plus a noisy AC unit which turns on and off just as you think you might eventually sleep.
