Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Morris I-80

Nothing about this property was enjoyable.

There was no staff at the desk when we arrived or when we left. The pictures & reviews don’t accurately portray this property. The carpet was frayed & stained, holes in the drywall, noisey & inadequate A/C, dripping faucets & running toilet. Rooms are dark and dingy, very poor lighting, difficult to even see to read. Rooms are stark & unappealing. This facility is a dump! At best a 1-2star rating.

The room was immaculate. Staff was wonderful.

No issues.

The hotel looked like it had been newly renovated. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Staff here was 10/10! Hotel has been updated. The shower was hands down the best hotel shower I’ve taken. It was clogged before I got in but the front desk guy came right up and fixed it no issues!! Breakfast is the same every day so maybe they could work on changing that up?? It was still good (eggs, biscuits and gravy or waffles) my kids didn’t care for the juice options case they did seem watered down. Coffee was great though and they had a creamer selection and flavored syrups. The pool was big and clean (definitely could use a hot tub) but I think those days are gone for most hotels. We stayed here an hour outside Chicago because of the price and I would do it again based on the staff and facilities alone.

The parking lot backs up to a gas station and truck parking so that was loud and it’s pretty dark. No issues though.
