Everything was perfectly in order, and it was clear that great attention had been paid to every detail. Carla, the host, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, which made our stay even more special. The location is excellent, with the added benefit of free parking, which is a huge advantage. Ibla is easy and quick to reach from the property, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. Ragusa itself is absolutely stunning — a true gem of Sicily. We can highly recommend it!”

La gentilezza dell'host che ci ha illustrato i posti da visitare e i ristoranti per mangiare. La posizione è strategica per raggiungere Ragusa Ibla a piedi, il parcheggio nei pressi della struttura è ampio e gratuito. Stanza spaziosa e curata con tutto il necessario.

Sehr schönes, modernes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer. Sehr bequeme Betten. Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Reichhaltiges Frühstück mit selbstgebackenen Süssigkeiten und feinem Cappuccino. Öffentlicher Parkplatz vor dem Haus.

Zimmer recht klein. Frühstück sehr lecker aber für grosse Esser etwas knapp bemessen. Kein frisches Brot.

Carla was amazing! She was super friendly, helpful and accommodating when we asked about adjustments to check out. The breakfast was no frills but yummy. The rooms itself was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Great walking distance from Ibla and everything needed.

Minor criticism was that the air con didn’t work the best.

Il Canale Design House is a charming boutique hotel managed by Carla, a delightful young host who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We stayed for one night during our Sicily trip and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The hotel is conveniently located and easy to reach by car, with parking available just behind the property. We could even see our car from our room, which was very reassuring. Our room and bathroom were spotless, tastefully furnished with modern furniture, and featured a very comfortable bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. The walk to the historic center of Ragusa Ibla is picturesque and enjoyable. Carla provided excellent recommendations on the best route to take, as well as tips for restaurants, bars, and local attractions, which helped us make the most of our visit. In the morning, she served a delicious breakfast on the sunny terrace, a perfect start to the day. We had a wonderful time in Ragusa and highly recommend Carla’s hotel to anyone planning a short stay in this beautiful town. We would gladly stay here again.
