Sorell Hotel Rüden

Hotel Rüden is a delightful hotel. It is close to the train station, so it is very easy to get there. The hotel is very nicely updated but has kept its very old style of the beautiful building. We even took away some ideas for our own home remodel ;-). Beds and linens all very comfortable. While it was quite warm during the day, the lack of air conditioning did not bother us at night with the window open. Breakfast was very nice, and we enjoyed poaching our own eggs and eating some of the local cheese. It is about 45 mins walk the Rhein falls, and only a short walk to restaurants and other sites.

Tolles Hotel modern ausgebaut in einem Altstadthaus. Stimmungsvolle Architektur, fantastische Lage. Eines unserer zwei Zimmer hatte allerdings kein Fenster, was in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt war.

Rooms are very clean with good quality facilities. Very good breakfast service.

Excellent location in historic center of Schaffhausen Very thoughtfully designed rooms that retain ancient beams, and add contemporary design features. Excellent breakfast service.

I spent 2 years in Switzerland 50 years ago. My wife had never been. She loved it. It was fun staying in a 500 year old building. The Feder Decke s were awesome. I had forgotten how good they feel to snuggle into. Got to get some online. Jasmin was great. Give her a raise.
