That it was steps from the train and that you don't have to take a gondola to get to this hotel, the food was excellent, it was a very positive experience

"Lovely mountain retreat"

The guys at reception were all so helpful! Gave us ideas, loaned us hiking poles and when time to leave, walked us to the station and helped put our bags on the train. Unfortunately, the housekeeping was a bit lax. Dirty glasses weren’t replaced the first day and had to ask for clean ones the next. Spa was really top notch with an outdoor and indoor hot tub, sauna, steam and showers. Great for after hiking!

Just steps away from the train station and grocery. We had a fourth floor large corner suite with wrap around balcony with beautiful Mountain View. Easy access from Lauberhorn Valley where we returned to travel up to Murren and hike The Valley back to town. Excellent breakfast and staff. WiFi good.

Wonderful again! Great sports in the area, great food in the Stube in hotel and wonderful warmth all round. Loved the spa every afternoon after being on the slopes.

Our rooms did not have good views and although the hotel was not full, we were not allowed to move to a mountain facing room. By comparison, we also had stayed in Zermatt and our hotel there gave us a room upgrade for free as they were also not full. Very nice touch there but not at the Silberhorn.
