Alma Hotel - Boutique hideaway by the lake with rooftop and ladies-only wellness

Clean, convenient and friendly staff

A small and homely boutique hotel is a dream home for those who cherish silence, private service, friendly attitude and a feeling of being welcome. Cannot add enough appreciating words. This was a top experience!

Nothing to complain about.

This was our first trip to Zurich so we had no idea if the Alma would be a good choice or not. But we were so glad we selected it! The staff was exceptionally friendly, everyone spoke fluent English, and everyone worked to ensure our comfort. There were a couple of service errors (a houekeeper who had a little trouble with managing the details, and one breakfast that felt like we were getting the lefovers of other guests), but in both instances, the front desk team sprung into action to make things right when I reported the concerns. The hotel is a good walk to the HB, or a quick walk to the tram station, if you feel like riding. There are some good Italian restaurants, a small bakery, and a delicious gelato shop in the immediate area as well. Of course, having beautiful Lake Zurich nearby was a bonus! Even our departure was wonderful, with Bernadette putting together a breakfast bag for us when we had to leave in the early a.m. for our flight home. The hotel isn't luxurious, but what it lacks in fanciness, it makes up for in kindness, coziness, and warmth.

Das Hotel ist im Stil eines Hauses gebaut, gemütlich und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es liegt sehr zentral, direkt am See und in einem sehr angenehmen Viertel von Zürich!

Beautiful place to stay, easy access to the lake and only a 20 minute walk in to town. Staff were amazing 😁.
