Great room at a great price. Near what events we were att.

Good price, comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again. Interior has been upgraded recently and is very nice.

I'm hard pressed to find anything that I would say I liked. From the moment I walked in and was spoken to by the clerk.

First impressions were bad and things went downhill from there. The clerk was sitting at a desk just barely visible behind a kiosk type wall. Didn't get up to greet me but did ask the question 'can I help you?' And it sounded like I was a burden to her even having to ask that. Room was hot but heat was off. The machine running in next room was loud and likely the cause for the heat I got. The window was open to a cold night just so I could stand it because the AC wouldn't run long enough to cool it down. Y'all put me upstairs and in the middle of the hotel so no matter what stairs I used, the distance to the room was the same. I didn't feel comfortable at all and the clerk made my comfort worse. I didn't dare ask for change of room and because it took so long to find availability, I stayed put. I knew I wasn't coming back. $100 plus for a super 8 was my first sign but I ignored it. I won't use Expedia anymore either. I'd hate to see your price for rack rate.

Neighborhood felt safe, tucked off of main throughway. Parking lot well lit. Front desk staff polite, but she did announce my room number at the desk & people were in lobby— additional training might be needed. Updated & tidy interior & exterior, however room furniture well used (desk surface bubbled & marked up). Fairly clean overall- but did find a pair of sunglasses on floor next to bed from previous guest. Beds comfortable. Quiet at night. There was an odd odor (like some sort of previous cooked food?) in room, but tolerable & was not overpowering to request a different. Breakfast only until 9am on weekend- had usual cold & warm offerings (better than many budget hotels). TV initially without signal & remote not working, figured out on wrong input (possibly some one had a gaming system attached?) fortunately I was able to get on correct input to watch a little TV to relax before sleeping. Would stay again if need lower cost hotel in area.

Breakfast was great ...quite the variety which was nice ...location was convenient...close to shops
