The breakfast was just average.

The toilets were so low you could barely get off of it. i asked for a handicap accessible room I was told there was only one and it had a king size bed. There were 3 of us, my husband and myself and my 93 year old mother. There was only 1 chair in the room and it was a rolling desk chair. I asked for a folding chair or an extra chair in the room so we could sit. I was told there are no extra. odd because we were the only ones staying in the hotel that night and they could have easily gotten another chair from an empty room. The beds were so high my mother had so much trouble getting in and out of it. I was very disappointed that the customer service was awful, no trying to assist us. I asked for a first floor which I didn't know we had to go down steps. luckily my mother could use a walker but had she been in a wheelchair we wouldn't have been able to get her down the steps. We will never stay there again. We travel past at least twice a year but we will chose another place in the future. I left an apple pie in the frig that was a gift for someone and 2 hours later I realized it and was told the housekeeper probably threw it away. I highly doubt it because she put me on hold for lest that 10 seconds after I told her what the room was, there was no way she even checked on it. I know that wasn't their fault, I left it there, but again poor customer service.

I loved the man working the front desk, he was very kind and engaging in pleasant conversation while checking in, the room was clean though the building needs redone, I didn’t have complaints about it as I went in with low expectations and was content

The building is not in the best shape ever but it’s clean and quiet and a good cheap place to avoid driving in bad roads

Horrible staff. When calling to pay ahead the young lady that answered was incredibly rude. Zero customer service or personality. Answered the phone Brookville Inn. No how can I help you or have a nice day. Gentleman that checked my son in again was incredibly rude. Argued with my son about sending me an email to sign for the credit card even though the card was in my son’s name. I called and he argued with me stating he sent me an email but one was never sent. I told him the credit card and reservation were both in my son’s name. He finally said okay I will talk with him regarding this later. Keep in mind that my son and his grandfather were told when they checked in if it was not resolved by 9pm the hotel room would be locked and they would not be permitted to stay. All the confusion was because the girl who took my son’s credit card information never took the CVC number even though I asked if she needed it. Owners should definitely train their staff on proper customer service.
