Super 8 by Wyndham Pekin/Peoria Area

I checked in late and was assigned a room. I had to walk in the dark to reach a switch because the one close to the door was not working. The floor of the shower area was not inviting. The items offered for breakfast was limited and the fruits looked not so fresh. I don’t recommend this Super 8.

I like it because it is a qiet place

Nothing

Everything, Walked in and the lady didn’t even great is nothing she was on the phone yelling that’s all. I went down later that night to ask a question and rang the bell and no one showed up. It smelled like cigarettes the bathtub was stained, walked into our room and it was a no smoking room and it smelled like someone just got done smoking in that room and there was a used ashtray.

Check in was uncomplicated. What I liked is that they give you two keys instead of only one. The room and the bathroom were clean, as well as the rest of the motel.

The toilet in the room was broken and kept flushing all the time after use. So I ended up using the public bathroom. The breakfast was nothing. I am glad that we brought our own food and would recommend this to everybody.

Guess location

Not clean at all. Had dog hair , spills on the floor, trash , and dog food under the heater. Walls had stains. Owners leave their house door open. Kinda weird to be watched. Dark room

The kids enjoyed the pool. It was nice that we were able to have our dog with us too.

Did not eat breakfast

Broken TV and too late in the night before I tried to watch TV that I realized it would not turn on to report and was given a queen bed smoking room even though I thought I reserved a king non smoking room.

They had smoking rooms.

Did an online check-in but it was a waste of time becuz I had to do the whole check-in thing when I got there. I mean I took a pic of my driver's license with online checking, but they still photocopied it when I got there. I put down that I had 1 guest, but they didn't know it. It's like the online check-in is worthless. The lady was talking on the phone THE WHOLE TIME SHE CHECKED IN THE GUY BEFORE ME AND WHEN SHE CHECKED ME IN. That was so annoying. Her & her husband knocked on my door late at night becuz they thought I had extra guests. I opened the door and he was trying to look in the room to see but like I said it was only my 1 guest. Then he asked me what room the people were in who came in the door after me. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW???

that I booked it late at night for an emergency rest stop and it was cheaper then any other hotels around the area

they said it had a Continental breakfast and all you got was a donut and a juice or a coffee. the beds were hard as a rock and you had to unplug the microwave to plug in the refrigerator. the refrigerator had an awful smell and mold was around the window seals.
