Nothing Run down property

We come every year to this hotel the kids love to play in the pool and it has always been great to stay nice and quiet and we always have a nice view. Lots of lovely restaurants near by and a good selections for breakfast the staff are lovely and helpful and are always polite. Mrs Ripley

Finding this hotel was such an added bonus as we were on our way to Calais and needed a one night stay. The staff the greeting was second to none. The room was clean and fresh, ample room and the pool was perfect for kids and the bar area was accommodating for our needs. We ordered a couple of good glasses of wine and a really delicious pizza. Could not fault it, will definitely stay again on our next road trip.

No issue with anything.

The swimming pool was nice following a l9ng hot drive. The hotel provided towels and floatation toys. Adjoining rooms were good. Also good was the fridge and air-conditioning. Staff were friendly, but limited English.

The TV didn't work. We didn't bother reporting as didn't need to watch TV, only a brief stay. Although the hotel advertised a pizza menu, they would not serve this to us. Only offering full restaurant meals at that time. These were unsuitable for us and our teenage children. We had to order a takeaway to be delivered to the hotel. Following our stay a few of us were covered in insect bites. We think these may have been bed bugs from the hotel, as they were in a tracking pattern, and we're present in the morning. Also silver fish in the bathtub. So although initially the rooms appeared clean, they were not free of bugs! We went for early breakfast at 7.30am, unfortunately a coach party were there before us and decimated breakfast. Like locusts they took everything and left. Staff cleared their tables, but didn't replenish the food.
