Das Haus Am Markt

This is a perfect location to visit the Traben-Trabach Christmas market. The Host was very helpful and a pass to the Christmas market was included with our stay. The apartment was walking distance to everything in town, including a walking trail up through the vineyards. There was a large parking lot just across the street and we didn't have trouble finding parking space even on the busy weekend

The decor and thoughtful luxury touches the family has put into these apartments is just over the top. We loved everything and the hospitality was very warm and welcoming.

Der Empfang durch die Vermieterin, wie auch der weitere Kontakt war sehr nett. Besser geht es nicht ! Nochmals : DANKE ! Wir hatten drei Appartements, alle waren unterschiedlich und außergewöhnlich eingerichtet. Sehr schöne Deko-Objekte, Bilder und Wandgestaltung. Die Küchenzeilen wirken neu und die Küchengeräte funktionieren perfekt, die Duschen auch. Alles war blitzsauber. Die gesamte Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll. Der überdachte Außenbereich, ist gemütlich und schön gestaltet und die Lage, mitten im Ort ist super zentral. Wir werden wiederkommen. Wirklich alles TOP und dieses ist die beste Bewertung, die ich jemals geschrieben habe. ;-)

Es gab für uns nichts zu bemängeln, aber man sollte wissen, dass einige recht steile Stufen zu bewältigen sind, um die Appartements zu erreichen und es gibt nur öffentliche Parkplätze. Das war für uns allerdings kein Problem.

We stayed for two nights in Das Haus Am Markt in August 2025 and it really was an exceptional stay. It was a very last minute booking and we were contacted immediately by the owner Ruth with further information to help with arrival and check in. Communication with Ruth was at all times very clear, quick and easy during our stay and she provided very helpful advice on places of interest and things to do locally. And as we were travelling by bike, Ruth provided us with a secure and dry area to store the bikes. The accommodation itself is really exceptional. The decoration of the apartment is beautiful, individual, artistic and quirky. It was a place we would have loved to spend more time in. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable and with all the basics supplied... the attention to detail here is second to none. We especially appreciated the thoughtfulness of the welcoming bottle of wine and water on arrival. There is also a large, inviting outdoor courtyard and chilling area which is perfect for a late evening drink after a days sightseeing. There are a number of apartments in the house,and I think this accommodation would be suitable for both groups or couples. It was one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in and thanks to the hosts for a memorable stay, we'll definitely be back 🤞

Impossible to think of anything not to like.

We hadden een groot appartement. Het geeft een gevoel van luxe. Alles is netjes met goede meubels en een hotel waardig bed. De gastvrouw is een warme persoonlijkheid. Je voelt je welkom geheten. De binnen plaats is een leuk extraatje met flipperautomaten en zitjes.

Ontzettend aardige mensen. Ze kwamen met veel informatie over de omgeving en wat er allemaal te doen was. Het appartement was ontzettend schoon. Het ontbrak werkelijk aan niets.

Prachtig appartement op een prima locatie

We had a memorable stay in this apartment. The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated. This is not a typical run of the mill apartment rented by owner. Everything was classy and upscale: cutlery, towels, bed. Ruth is an exceptional host that gave us a warm welcome and sent information about local places to eat and wineries to visit. The location was also perfect. Parking was easy and it was easy to get to other towns on the Mosel.
