Manchester Stay Hotel - Free Parking

Absolute shambles. Booking was cancelled on the day so had to book alternative accommodation in Manchester. They have not refunded me after I asked them to cancel the booking on their side so the refund can be issued. Instead my Booking was still confirmed and now im receiving emails asking how my stay was??

Good parking and was handy that the room had a fridge during the heatwave. Close to the venue we were going to and quiet.

Not the cleanest of places, the bedding had been changed and we had fresh towels and the bathroom was clean enough but unfortunately there was leftover drinks and sauces in the fridge from previous guests, fridge hadn’t been cleaned and the coffee tray hadn’t been cleaned either, empty sachets and dirty glasses. Definitely hadn’t been hoovered or dusted in a long while and the property itself needs a lot of love, missing/broken lights, showers ran cold and when they did warm up it wasn’t very warm at all. Also the front door was very tricky to unlock. Host seemed pleasant but only saw them when checking in and then didn’t see them again else we would have brought these issues to their attention.

Convenient location for the aquatics centre, with own off street parking, and at a sensible price. Other options nearby that weekend were ridiculous money. Friendly welcome, and we were in an attic room that had a nice view of the park opposite. Shower was decent as well, and bed comfortable.

Hotel was a bit past its best. Room had some damage - cupboard doors, desk surface, blinds etc. and fridge was near useless. But given the lower cost, nothing that was a serious issue.

The bed was very comfortable. Great to have free parking & an uber was only £12 from Piccadilly.
