The Homestead

We stayed at the Homestead with our friends as two families. First and foremost, Maria and Kevin are wonderful hosts. They were nice and friendly, generous, just lovely. Their property is worth seeing as it is a 16th century building which is restorated, kept and furnished with utmost attention to every detail. Don’t let its being a historic building fool you. It was very warm and comfortable. I already recommended the hotel to another friend and can definetly recommend to anyone.

Thanks to Mr. Kevin and his lovely wife for their hospitality. Not only the rooms but the whole structure is great and its decoration is elegant down to the smallest details. We also had the best breakfast.

Lovely place to stay. Maria and Kevin are such friendly hosts that make your stay like a home away from home. Room was spotlessley cleaned each day. Lots of choice for breakfast and very tasty.

A beautiful B & B with great attention to detail, exceptionally clean and luxurious. Maria was really friendly and made us a fabulous breakfast.

Kevin and Maria are excellent hosts, with a pride in their beautiful home and a genuine interest in their guests. We loved it.

This was a superb choice of our night stop en route to Scotland. The Management/owners were very welcoming and the check very smooth. Our room was very well appointed and we had a delightful nights sleep. Breakfast was well presented and spot on time. I recommend this establishment for a wonderful stay.

If it were possible to give more than ten stars, I'd do it. Maria and Kevin are so lovely as people, that generosity and grace as hosts just seem to come naturally. Breakfast is exceptionally good, rooms are spotless (and furnished in a style that tends to fascinating rather than minimalist: a feast for afficiandos of Antiques Roadshow.) I should add that we both slept deeply in very comfortable beds.

Extremely hospitable hosts. The room and furnishings were extremely comfortable. We had a great night’s sleep and a very nice breakfast prior to leaving.
