Holiday Inn Express Swindon West by IHG

Staff were friendly. Room was clean and spacious.

Mattress and pillow uncomfortable leading to a poor night's sleep. Breakfast wasn't great. Staff were slow to respond in terms of clearing tables and restocking items and plates and cutlery. Food was ok but not great quality. Was a bit disappointed.

The staff are friendly. The room is clean. The location is good. Parking is free.

The breakfast selection is good, however, there is not enough table to cater all the guest and also not enough staff to clean the dirty tables, so other guests can also use.

Parking spaces were cordoned off - why? No meals available in evening as no chef Breakfast was chaos. No tables available as they hadn't been cleared Lift shuddered every time we used it and we thought it was going to break down

Very good location and breakfast was good.

Water pressure on the shower was very poor that we couldn't use the shower itself. Air-conditioned fan blades were not moving at all and was pointing/hitting straight on my face all through the night.

The accessible room provided adequate space for a wheelchair. The hotel was close to the M4 and the local amenities that we planned to use. The hotel was quiet although there was some traffic noise outside.

The breakfast area was quite small, chaotic and badly arranged. The plates for bread were at the opposite end of the room and it wasn't obvious which end to queue for the hot breakfast. Not easy for a wheelchair user to navigate. Clearing tables seemed to be left for the person on reception, who couldn't keep up with the demand.
