Hotel Casa Chacala

The staff were super nice. Very welcoming and helpful.

The location is central, which was good because you were 5 mins walk to everything but bad because it was noisy at times. Chacala is a tiny town, so I would have preferred a quieter spot that was 10 mins walk to everything. Also the kitchen facilities were not great. There were hardly any utensils in the shared kitchen and my room had a small fridge, kettle and coffee utensils (French press, cups and a spoon.

Wonderful hosts, great location close to the beach, restaurants and supermarket, simple, clean, had everything you needed, including delicious coffee, drinking water and a kitchen. Enjoyed the balcony, especially in the mornings, when it was shady.

If you want to use the kitchen facilities, be sure to bring a few small items you require like a knife for chopping and cutlery, which unfortunately get taken by visitors and the hotel cannot keep replacing. They have everything else you need like plates, lots of frying pans.

They have a shared kitchen but there were no utensils, pans, pots, glasses or plates so you could not really fix food in it.

Great Hosts and Guests made our stay a memorable one . Nice to see customer service with a smile still exists ! We will return next year for sure !

The staff is very friendly. This is a small property that offers the basics. It is clean and conveniently located in the small town of Chacala.

We love Casa Chacala

The service from the owners & staff was excellent. Very friendly people. We received anything we asked for. They provided coffee, plates, knives and a place to wash dishes. The beach was great; large, clean and lots of restaurants.

Not much public space to sit at the hotel, only our room or balcony. No room for lounge chairs. Unfortunately, the pool was a wading pool, shallow & small with very little room to sit around it. We didn't have much of a view. We looked at the grey wall of another building, and other towers in front. There is no planning in Chacala. Older Hotels like ours are having their views blocked.
