Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation Resort

Our stay at Dusit Thani Davao de Oro was truly a wonderful and memorable experience, especially for newlyweds like us. Greg, our butler, was very approachable and consistently ensured that all our requests were attended to. He was always smiling, warm, and responsive through Viber, which made our stay very smooth and hassle-free. I would also like to commend all the staff at the Western Restaurant. They were very accommodating and even served our food earlier than expected. They allowed us to dine in even before 6:00 PM, which we truly appreciated. However, the only downside of our stay was our experience at The Mill during lunch. We felt some awkwardness and a lack of initiative, as we had to ask for water ourselves, and there was no immediate offer to refill it upon our arrival. The serving time for lunch took almost an hour, which was inconvenient. Additionally, we were not allowed to enter before 12:00 NN despite already being hungry. I suggest that the restaurant consider opening earlier for guests who wish to dine before noon. That said, our breakfast experience at The Mill was much better—the staff who assisted us then were very accommodating, welcoming, and attentive, frequently checking on us and asking if we were enjoying the food. As for the room, it was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped with complete toiletries. It truly made our mini honeymoon feel complete and relaxing. All of the staff are very courteous — waiters, utilities, butlers, servers etc. Thank you so much, Ma’am & Sir!! Overall, our stay at Dusit Thani was definitely worth it. While it is on the expensive side, the quality of service, comfort, and experience they provide are exceptional.

Our stay at Dusit Thani Resort was overall a pleasant experience. The whole place is beautiful, well-maintained, and relaxing, making it a great destination for a getaway. The staff were generally very nice and welcoming, especially our butler Greg, who truly stood out for his excellent service, professionalism, and attentiveness. He made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. However, our experience at the restaurant called *The Mill* was disappointing. The staff there were not very accommodating, and their operating hours starting at 12 noon left us hungry upon arrival at the resort, which was inconvenient. On the other hand, the western restaurant made up for this, as their staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and the dining experience there was much better. Overall, despite a few drawbacks, Dusit Thani Resort is a lovely place with great service in most areas, and we still enjoyed our stay.

My family and I had a great time, booked 3 rooms for 12 of us. Both studios and their one bedroom suite, super nice with comfy beds. Love the outdoor shower and the plunge pool especially! Two nights wasn't enough to enjoy this whole island/resort. The ATMOSPHERE, the ROOMS, the FOOD, the SERVICE were SuperB! Would like to thank you to our Butler, Ridz! He was the best! Always checking on us and made sure everything was satisfactory! Will definitely come back!

Each and every staff is very accommodating, the place is very clean and eco friendly, and it’s worth the stay. Location wise, it’s a bit far from the city but the trip is worth the travel. the room is spacious and the atmosphere is very cozy. All in all, you get great service and a great place to stay. 10/10 would recommend.

I celebrated my 24th birthday at Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation, and it was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The place is absolutely superb peaceful, beautiful, and truly luxurious. What stood out the most was the customer service. It was beyond top tier, 100 out of 10 fr. Everywhere you go, every staff member you encounter greets you with the warmest smile, which makes you feel genuinely welcome and cared for. A special shout out to our butler, Jericho, who made our stay even more convenient and memorable. On my birthday, I unexpectedly got my period and didn’t bring any sanitary pads. I asked him where can I buy one and he immediately found a way to help. To my surprise, he personally delivered it straight to our room. That simple but thoughtful gesture meant so much, especially since I wasn’t feeling well and had no energy to go out. And let’s talk about the food because it was so good. The pork sisig and humba were insanely delicious, like heaven. Even the mango shake was legit—it really tasted like pure mango, not watered down or artificial. Overall, the experience was exceptional, from the place, to the service, to the food, to the people. I would 1000% recommend Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation and would definitely love to come back on our Anniversary 💛

The experience is superb, you get welcomed right after arriving and everyone on the island is super polite and super helpful. always willing to help and accomodate the place is wonderful though we did not stay the night, but the amenities are great and service is top notch would highly recommend the place

From the pick-up to our airport drop-off, Dusit Lubi made us feel well taken care of. Our butler, Jeff was very accommodating throughout our stay, patiently attending to all my questions and requests. The food was amazing, though I was sad that I didn’t get to try the Pad Thai because the restaurant was closed at the time of our visit. We especially loved our room; it was very comfortable and almost felt like home. And lastly, the view! Wherever we looked, it was one of the most peaceful and chill places we’ve ever been to. The price is definitely worth it. We can’t wait to go back.

Great place to really wind down and relax! Our butler, Sir Joshua Acta, made our stay incredible! His level of care and service went above and beyond expectations. looking forward to stay longer next time around!

The place was very clean and had a very relaxing vibe. They served really good food and the service was great. Our villa butler, Sir Ridz, was very helpful and provided with superb service. We were fortunate to get a complimentary room upgrade and it made our stay more memorable.

The facility is well maintained and there are different variety of food. Staffs were very accomodating and friendly. The place is exclusive and beautiful.
