We had an amazing trip this was our second visit the difference was not only the beautiful beach club and facilities but Ivan the concierge went out of his way to make every event, meal and moment special. We will be back again soon

Six of us decided to meet in Cabo for a relaxing get away before the real work of the new year kicked in. The Bahia is always welcoming. The service is fabulous. The food is great. A real special part of the Bahia is the beach club- Sur. Best way to sit by the water and enjoy catching up with friends and family. The food at Sur is fantastic. This is the first trip where I didn’t even have time to paddle over to the arch. But we did get a boat ride there and I was able to snorkel. I swam with some beautiful yellow tail fish and got very close to a sea lion sunning on the rocks. Great trip! Can’t wait to get there again!

A New Standard for Cabo: Safe, Luxurious, and Unforgettable ​⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ​This trip completely changed our perception of Cabo. If you are worried about safety or the "crazy party scene" often associated with the area, the Bahia is the perfect antidote. From the moment we arrived, we felt extremely safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. The vibe here is sophisticated and tranquil—a true escape. We felt at home the moment we walked through the doors. ​The Room The property feature that absolutely blew our mind was the private patio jacuzzi suite. It was the ultimate luxury to have our own private space to relax and soak after a long day. It elevated the entire experience and made the room feel like a personal sanctuary. The room itself was private, high quality, well appointed and we had plenty of room. ​The Ownership & Atmosphere We loved the American ownership group and their vision. One of them, Lee, is actually on-site and involved. You can feel their pride in ownership and the high standards they set for the property. It doesn’t feel like a corporate hotel; it feels like a curated boutique experience where every detail matters. The food was consistently outstanding, and the pool area provided a peaceful oasis. ​The "Superstar" Team The quality of the people here is what truly makes this place 5 stars. We have to give a special shout-out to the team who looked after us: ​Christian: He was incredible. Not only did he ensure we had safe driving everywhere we went, but he also arranged all our activities perfectly. We knew we were in good hands with him. ​Alex: Our butler was fantastic. He was attentive, kind, and made sure our stay was effortless. ​Ismael: A total superstar at the Beach Club! He made our time by the water amazing. Matha: She was exceptional at the front desk helping us with everything we didn't know we needed. ​The Beach & Activities Having access to swimmable water at the Beach Club (SUR) was a game-changer. It was safe, clean, and beautiful. ​We also went on two excursions, one with Cabo SUP, which were the highlight of our trip: ​Fishing: We had an epic day catching 3 fish, including two Marlin! Lifetime experience and a bucket list item. ​Whale Watching: This was absolutely magical—we saw over 30 whales. It was fun seeing them jump all around us, right out of a National Geographic magazine. ​Between the sense of safety, the delicious food, and the incredible staff, we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Thank you to George, Lee, and the whole team. We will be back!

This hotel is incredible! They have an attached restaurant that offers live music and late night room service. We had such a wonderful view of the pool and the mountains behind the hotel. Our concierge Christian was so helpful in setting up reservations for water activities, beach loungers, local restaurants and massages! Can’t wait to come back!

We have been visiting Cabo several times a year for over 20 years and chose to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary there. For this milestone trip, we intentionally selected a smaller boutique hotel rather than a large resort and chose Bahia Hotel and Beach House specifically for its proximity to town and dining options, and—most importantly—its beach house access. Upon check-in, we paid all required resort fees, taxes for our full 7-night stay, and an additional deposit upfront. The daily resort fee explicitly included access to the beach house. We asked about reserving beach chairs for our stay and were told reservations would be handled and confirmed. Ultimately, we were only granted 2 beach house reservations out of 7 days. The remaining days were explained away as being “fully booked,” “closed for private events,” or “closing early for New Year’s Eve preparations.” This alone made it clear that the beach house was not reliably available to hotel guests. On one occasion, we were advised to come as a standby guest. We arrived, ordered drinks, and waited over an hour while numerous beach chairs remained empty. When we approached the hostess again, a newly arrived couple—who openly stated they had no reservations—were greeted personally by the beach manager, hugged, and seated within minutes. The contrast in treatment was undeniable. When I later addressed this with the beach manager, he suddenly offered to seat us immediately. At that point, we declined, having already wasted significant time and money and feeling clearly deprioritized. It is reasonable to conclude that the lack of availability we experienced throughout our stay was not due to capacity, but preferential treatment. The most unacceptable issue is that we paid a $55 per day resort fee for a beach access we were unable to use even half of the time. To compound matters, upon checkout, the hotel attempted to charge us resort fees and taxes a second time, despite having already collected them at check-in. We were forced to produce credit card statements before staff located the original charges and corrected the bill. This was, without question, the worst experience we have had in over two decades of traveling to Cabo. A milestone anniversary trip was overshadowed by poor communication, inconsistent enforcement of policies, preferential treatment, and billing errors. We cannot recommend this property and will not return.

Great location, delicious food and super friendly front staff. I would recommend and hope to stay here again in the future.

Great service at all restaurants. We loved this hotel. The staff is always available to help with anything. We will definitely be back soon.

The staff was excellent. The room was clean. The hotel restaurant was excellent but very expensive. The beach side lounge area was very beautiful

The pool area smelled like sewage all week. I don't believe it was the pool but something nearby. Unfortunately it still made the experience very unpleasant, and unusable.

The room was spacious and modern. We had a view of the pool from the balcony. The staff was super escially Jose at thr front desk was great! Loved the access to the beach club Sur. Food was terrific at the hotel and beach club. Overall great stay!
