Monsoon Grande

The hotel sits just above a tea plantation, and the view from the balcony is genuinely stunning. We booked a Grand Suite, which was spacious and comfortable. It’s about 30 minutes away from the busy town area, so the whole place feels quiet and peaceful. The staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast spread was simple but good, with enough variety to start the day well. One thing to keep in mind: try to reach the hotel before 6 pm. The last stretch of the drive is short but quite steep and uphill, which can be tricky in the dark. Once you arrive, though, the place has a very homely and relaxing feel.

There is no proper facilities

Clean, good shower, nice balcony with view of the valley. Decent restaurant with friendly staff. They even called me one night when I didn’t show up for dinner. Reception assisted with tours and transportation.

3 km from nearest restaurant. On the other hand, staying in town would have been noisy and uncomfortable.

Very clean, amazing view. Location was pretty solid being close to most of the main attractions and the hotel connects you with a chauffeur service.
