Elk Country Inn

Very underwhelming experience. Seemed overpriced for quality of the room. Breakfast wasn’t very good either and the eating area was tiny, several people had to stand and eat. The staff also seemed very irritated and rushed. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The staff is really lovely and super helpful. The main building is amazing & they offer all hot drinks for free during all day. Also, they freshly bake amazing cookies every day. We didn’t use the pool so can’t really comment but looked nice! Also, they have small gym and laundry room which is handy. The actual room is good size & has all what you need really.

It is a bit dark in the room. I feel like adding different lighting could make the room even more cozy. Our room was in motel like building and really you can hear all what’s happening on second floor fairly loudly.

Room was spacious and bed comfy. Very quiet. Hot breakfast was a nice touch. Friendly staff.

I had the 3 queen room. I wasn't sure how it was laid out, but I was happy that one was up in a loft for a little more privacy. It was just the right amount of that extra bed space that we needed.

The pool area closed at 10 which is fine, but I wish it was open to 11. We had just pulled in and I was ready to relax in the hottub but it was closing in just a few minutes.

We booked here without a lot of research since we were only staying one night, and planned to be in Grand Tetons all day and spending very little time in the room. As soon as we walked in we wished we were staying longer. The hotel lobby is beautiful and the lady at the desk was great. She got us checked in and gave us a great recommendation for a spot to eat. The room was very nice, clean, quiet and with all the amenities you would need. The breakfast was very good. We were going to check out early that day, but the room was so nice we ended up leaving mid morning. The hotel is not far from Jackson's wonderful downtown. you can walk it easily enough. or take a ride share. Don't miss the complimentary cookies in the lobby, but be quick, they go fast.

I was not in the main lodge but the row behind it, being on the second floor the signage was not too good and no elevator.

Great location to walk downtown. Good breakfast.

A little dark. Needed nightstands on both sides of bed. Got a call at 10:30 that we were not checked in—Need to improve that system. Dining room for breakfast was very small. Overpriced for what we got.
