Asilomar Conference Grounds

I loved the location, the breakfast, I like the grounds and everything that comes with it. I liked the extra blankets in the rooms. I like the separation of the shower and restroom and the sink.

The rooms need more attention. The balcony we had would have been perfect if it was clean. Cob webs everywhere and seats are so dusty. We couldn't enjoy the scenery from inside because the sliding door glass was so dirty and the screen door extremely dusty. The shower did not have any shampoo and conditioner or wash. They were all empty. The air conditioner didn't work and there wasn't a fan in place of the air conditioner not working.

Our room was not at all well maintained. Other friends didn’t have the same issue.

Stunning grounds and perfect location. The architecture of the buildings and cabins was amazing.

The rooms could be cleaner and the beds and pillows weren’t great. But the views made up for it.

Location, Hearts Social Hall, Quiet! Breakfast was convenient and the food was good. Beds were comfortable.

Lots of deferred maintenance needed. Rustic rooms are small and outdated.

Felt like a cabin

The resort was beautiful, the forest, beach and location was excellent.

The rooms were very basic and needed refurbishment. The bathroom was dated and not the cleanest. Cobwebs, rust etc.

Location and care taken to keep the grounds virtually untouched.

Found sleep mask on floor by bed which indicated no vacuuming. Why can’t you have sheets that cover the bed? Sliding glass door too difficult to open and close. Virtually unusable. Food not up to par. I understand food costs have increased but out of all the meals I liked only one dinner. Some years are great. Some years not. This was a not good year.
