The hotel room are clean thanks to Peth. Front desk staff Wieasalley very helpful in directing me where and what to do. Super friendly, she make me so welcome and comfortable. Valentine so helpful during breakfast. I very shy person and there is so many people during breakfast. He guide me to at the bar where is more quiet and he help me get utensil cause I couldn't find it. Food was great. Your staff are amazing! Keep it up!

I was very impressed with the room cleanliness the bed was neatly made and the bathroom was sparkling. Kudos to the housekeeping (Humphrey & cleamintin) ⭐⭐however,i must highlight as the bottle water provided. The water had a very strong chlorine taste, making it unpleasant to drink.

I have been staying here almost every once a month. Still one of the most worthy hotel to stay in Kota Kinabalu. The only thing is too many chinese tourist and bring down the cleanliness sometimes.

I had a pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Express Kota Kinabalu. Good location, with easy access to Gaya Street, restaurants, shopping malls, and many attractions around Kota Kinabalu. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet enough for a good rest. The bed was comfortable, and the overall environment felt modern and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, while both check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. Breakfast selection was decent and sufficient, although not extremely extensive. Some areas for improvement would be the limited parking availability and slightly longer elevator waiting times during peak periods. The breakfast area can also become crowded in the morning. Overall, considering the price, location, and brand standard, this hotel offers very good value for money. I would still recommend it to travelers visiting Kota Kinabalu, especially for short stays and self-drive trips.
