"Clean and comfortable, but a theft incident in the room was very disappointing and concerning."

The breakfast spread was great, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained.

My parents recently stayed at this hotel, and while the room was clean and the breakfast was good, we had a very concerning experience that needs serious attention. During their stay, their luggage was left in the room while they went down for breakfast. When they returned, they discovered that their luggage had been opened and several items were missing, including USB chargers and accessories (worth over RM300). They reported this to reception immediately. However, the response was limited to checking with housekeeping staff, and no further follow-up or investigation was conducted. This was very disappointing. This is a serious security issue. Guests should feel safe leaving their belongings in their rooms, and incidents like this should not be treated lightly. At a minimum, we would expect a more thorough investigation and clearer communication on next steps. We hope the hotel takes this matter seriously, reviews its internal security procedures, and ensures better protection for future guests.
