great room, very spacious and unbeatable location.

I thought the hotel itself was great but the lack of interaction with staff (self-check in process) was a little complicated and added a bit more hassle to the trip. A front desk/manager/porter would have been great. Everything worked out but for example it wasn't immediately obvious that there was an elevator or how to work it.

"Classy, you feel like in another age but also a bit spooky at times."

Deep in center, calm neighborhood with lots of character and not too many (other) tourists. Very classy size and architectural detail and simple, appealing decor in room.

It was difficult to find and to figure out how to get in….always prefer real human contact and in such a large and quiet place, which was empty, the whole process felt spooky. In the morning after I met the staff and had some human contact I felt much better about it.
