La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Lynnwood

Quite a bit north of Seattle, which made it good value for money. Visiting downtown Seattle is very easy as the lightrail station (terminus) is just across the street, so no hassle with traffic jams or parking. Shopping close by, and when driving to/from SeaTac you have an alternative route along the east if traffic is bad along the west. Complimentary coffee/tea hot/cold filtered water available all day. Very good breakfast in the morning. Using the elevator requires you to tap your room key card, so only guests/staff get to the higher floors. Comfy bed, and spacious room.

Best rate for a decent hotel. Other hotels were crazy expensive. I likes it was 5 minutes walk to 1st station of Line1/2 skytrain. Free parking which was great considered other hotels don't offer that. Good wifi, good AC. Safe area around. We arrived around 9:30 and we were able to check in early.

Terrible limited breakfast, but I think that's the American fast. There was a bad smell in the room. Staff are ok but no smiling at all, like they hate their job. Some stains on bed sheets. No slippers. We asked for a baby cot and they said ok, but none was provided.

The hotel's location was ideal and very convenient for getting around the area. The room itself was spacious and comfortable in terms of size.

There were a few drawbacks. The corridor and lobby had a noticeable pet odor, which affected the overall first impression of the property. In addition, the bedding appeared old, thin, and quite wrinkled, which made the room feel less well-maintained than expected.
