Super 8 by Wyndham Wheat Ridge/Denver West

They’re under construction and I smelled fresh paint which gave me a headache the door to my room needed some love and the floors are long carpeted just laminate

Almost every time I stay at this Super 8 by Wyndham in Wheat Ridge, there’s a customer slouched over the check-in desk talking with the receptionist. I usually just want to check-in, go to my room, and get ready for bed. Nonetheless, the previous customer continues to dialogue with the receptionist as I wait. Of course it then dawns on me that at least these 2 people are enjoying a conversation together, often commiserating about some struggle in their life. I actually think we need more of this. I’ll eventually get to sleep, but not everyone has a listening ear to help them feel heard. Very comfortable stay!

There was a very strong chemical smell in the room and on the beds. My belongings smelled like it after I got home. There are no coffee machines in the rooms and they do not offer coffee until 6:30 AM.

Let me start by saying, we knew this was not a luxury stay. And it wasnt. Here are the lowlights: 1. My husband can sleep on the floor and be comfortable. This bed left us both with back and hip pain. The floor may have been better. 2. They should say "Continental Breakfast" because it was cold cereal and a small muffin as the ootions. The drink machine had cranberry and everything else was crossed off. 3. If you need to fill the tub, start the minute you get there. Hot water will be full before bed time. 4. The walls are paper thin. We could hear the gals next door explaining why Bob was useless at work. Look out Bob, they have plans! 5. Alarm clock radio went off at about 2am and wouldnt quit snoozing so we unplugged it. 6. The remote back was broken and the batteries were constantly falling out. Staff was nice. That was a plus.

I like to sit outside. Some outside seating would be nice.

I did not like how the lady in housekeepi g is so rude and it makes a perso. Not want to ask fir anything also i wanted a kitchennette i have soent probably 4000 to stsy here and i still dont have a kitchenettebut if i book through them directly maybe ill get one the front staff is awesome housekeeping supervisor is not friendly at sll

Staff were rude and judgmental.

A lot of acidity all night. Pretty far away from downtown. Staff kind of dismissive and unhelpful.
