Sunrise House

The room was cute and comfortable and the coffee was delicious. The host Ceaser greeted me, after a long hot trek up the hill, with cold water and a washcloth. He then had a big map of the city with all the attraction highlighted and familiarized me with Quepos. He also gave great restaurant recommendations. The location was walking distance from downtown, there is a small, but well stocked grocery store nearby. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Everything was great. Felt completely safe here as a solo female traveler.

Adorable room but small. Cesar was very helpful and congenial. Able to walk to town to eat. Secure place to park vehicle.

Wish he had a sign on property that said sunrise house. GPS brought us here accurately but if Cesar hasn’t answered phone promptly, we wouldn’t have know we had arrived.

The most we liked our host Ceasar that made our stay 5x better. We loved that he waited for us and explained everything in the room plus all about the Quepos and Antonio Manuel NP. Furthermore, he helped us tremendously by booking tickets to the NP on his own card so that we can pay him back later. Overall, room is great value, designed nicely, safe gated parking, refrigerator, coffee ... all you can ask for on a short 2 night stay. Room is located on the edge of the city so it is quiet and you get spared from car noise. AC is good, coffee is great and provided by host that lives on the premises.

Approach to the house is sketchy, small road about 70m to the facility, but once you get there you appreciate the quietness and gated parking space (just in case, you never know)

Nothing It was perfect!

- Friendly owner - Central located in Quepos within a not so crowded location

- Small room with less space - There was a lot of sand on the floor - Underwear of the previous renter was laying in the bathroom - No windows for fresh air - Bed was not that comfortable and the air conditioner was directly above the bed - Refrigerator was not activated

Property was off main roads so very quiet and very close to the Manuel Antonio National Park. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. Can’t say enough good things about our host Cesar. I was feeling under the weather and he ordered and delivered dinner for us so we didn’t have to go out. Talk about over and above service. The apartment is a hidden gem.
