Best Western Downtown San Diego

Located adjacent to major, busy, street. Hear traffic noise, sirens, loud landscape crew with loud equiptment early in the morning 7am. Mal functioning printing machine made it difficult to print airline boarding passes. Walls are paper thin enabling me to hear coughing, snizzing, walking on upper floors. Difficulty sleeping in this enviroment.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and very nicely decorated. We had an amazing stay.

The property is unique, but well cared for. There are succulents all over, which gives the hotel a luscious and small town feel. The staff were gracious and kind, answering all of my questions and requests. The rooms are adequate, not spacious. BUT the beds are VERY comfortable, the sheets are luxurious and the towels fluffy.

Small hotel. The room was very nice and the breakfast was better than I expected. The bed was very comfortable. The negative things were they do not have enough parking spaces. There is only spaces for about 1/2 of the rooms. The aC was loud. In the morning we were woken up early by the cleaning carts and vacuums.

Only downside to our state was the occasional sirens at night and the mattress could have been a bit more comfy.

Nice hotel near the center of San Diego. For breakfast was only plastic dishes there and not many places to sit.
