Econo Lodge North Academy

My family and I were not bothered or harassed in any way but there were homeless sitting on the curb outside and we had a few people come in, obviously high, talking about getting high or getting money, which made us feel like we had to be very careful with our belongings and our own safety. The parking lot area was dirty and I'm assuming the trash came from those who were seeking to get drunk and high. The hotel had a continental breakfast but the selection was minimal. Two types of cereal, apples (small), or waffles. I don't expect a lot of a place that is beyond reasonable monetarily, but I do expect a little better than what we experienced on our stay. I will probably try another option next time.

Location, it was close to freeway interstate and quick accessibility. Conveniently businesses were all in walking distant i.e. IHOP, WAL-MART Cracker Barrel and gasoline stations. Oh, and Goodwill

Pictures don't tell the whole story although it wasn't to bad it wasn't great either building look like it was falling apart inside and out. Two broken down cars in parking lot that look like they had been there awhile. Paint and wall on the outside was chipping walls inside were dirty and needed repairs. Breakfast bar was very little as far as food choice and cereal was stale. All and all it was not worth the price I paid. We had chose the place from recommended by someone who had stayed there many times and was closed to where they live but they failed to tell us it had been five years ago. Will not stay here again.

They are always helpful for my needs- I'm a 100% disabled veteran. I keep returning to stay with them. Thank you!
