Great hotel in a centric location

This fantastic hotel has the perfect location for exploring the historic city of Valencia. Situated on a side street close to the Plaza de la Reina you are a stones throw away from the beautiful cathedral, several restaurants and cafes and a hub for all the tourist buses. Yet the street itself is nice and quiet so you get a peaceful night's sleep. The room was quite small but immaculately cleaned every day and the aircon was excellent. It had a lovely clean bathroom with a nice powerful shower. The staff were all lovely - everyone spoke good English and they were friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast here as there are so many options for eating close by. The bakery on the corner (Granier) has great coffee and pastries and made for a perfect well priced breakfast. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Valencia - it is all about the location and the fact that it is an amazing clean hotel with superb staff means that there is no reason to consider staying anywhere else!

Sorry to put a dent in the otherwise mostly positive reviews but this is a 3 star hotel that's exactly that. Nothing amazing, nothing terrible but lacking charm or any defining qualities. On the plus side, it's clean and the beds are comfy and most importantly it's central but quiet at night - if you're on the side street (hotel entrance) side of the hotel that is. On the negative, the staff were not particularly helpful, especially when we told them the room was boiling hot - I mean stifling hot -even though the heating was turned off. The night desk guy just told me to open the window and that was it (it turned out it was the mini-fridge belching out heat. The day staff resolved the problem the next day by turning it off!) He also told me that I should refer to the booklet in the room for things like how to call reception (I'd had to go downstairs to talk to him because there was no way of knowing which number to call. There was no booklet) The day staff told me the next day that all the booklets in the room had long-since been removed and I should have been given the information on check in. Not a serious crime but irritating. I guess that - and the plain, bland and rather cold decor is what I mean by charmless. Hint: If it's not included in your room rate, don' buy the very expensive breakfast. There's a fab cafe on the corner of the street that'll do you anything from toast and ham to amazing pastries and sandwiches with excellent coffee for about a third of the price

Great location and customer service, but we had to check out the day we arrived, as the room was too cramped for our family, the heating was on throughout the whole hotel (not adjustable by room, and it was 25 degrees outside!), the bunk beds were hazardous, even with the bed rails provided, there was a window which opened fully, to a five story drop below (not ideal when there is a table underneath and you have two under fives)..... we paid for the first night, as we had been in the room for an hour or so before we discovered everything. Booked an amazing apartment around the corner instead. Would not recommend.

Very good central location. Quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms basic but nice enough. Not much privacy when using the loo. No coffee/tea facilities in room. I like a coffee in the morning before I face the world. Thought that breakfast was overpriced at 12 euros booked, 14 euros on day to day basis.

Although getting absolutely soaked on the Sunday we had sunshine the other days. The bus tour was brilliant and enabled us to get on and off randomly.

Stayed five nights in Valencia. This hotel is situated in a quiet side street just off one of the main squares in the old city. It is an easy 10 minute walk from the main station. The surrounding area is FULL of bars and restaurants - we chose ours using a guide book and their recommendations were spot on. The hotel itself is very clean with good sized rooms. Staff were very friendly. We asked to be moved from 205 because it was quite noisy and so were moved to 405 and really enjoyed being up there.

Check in was easy and we were seen to very quickly. Our room was on the fourth floor and very spacious overlooking the front of the hotel. The bed was very comfy, the only niggle would be that the air con didn’t work - and Valencia is still rather warm in November. We got away with keeping the door a-jar for half hour or so. Location is great! Within walking distance of the hustle and bustle of the Main Streets, bars and restaurants as well as the ‘hop on Hop off’ buses. The hotel itself is located just off the main walkways and you don’t get any noise which is welcomed after a day on you’re feet all day. We didn’t have the breakfast however it looked like there was plenty of selection when we walked past. All in all, a lovely enjoyable stay.
