Es un hotel elegante

Uno de los motivos de elegir este hotel era que disponía de piscina, pero en el momento de hacer el check in, me informaron que ese día había un evento en la piscina y que no podría acceder.

The breakfast as with most Eurostars was good with quite a few options. The room was reasonably comfortable. 15 mins walk to a nice mall. Some of the reception staff were helpful.

This was a $1000 booking - I did not sleep the first night I was there. First room I was in was nonstop noise above me with furniture being moved, banging, etc. I asked to be moved... So then they put me into a different room - 30 mins later 15 people come barreling down the hall on an alcohol and drug binge (their pupils were the size of Antarctica). They're screaming at each other and yelling and partying in the halls. It was Vegas in the 90s. I go down to talk to reception again and they try calling them to no avail -- and while this is happening another party group comes in to the lobby and sets of the alarm on the garage elevator so the receptionist on duty leaves me alone staring at a useless call bell - I resigned myself to the fact I will get no sleep. Although the polite manager did take the time to hear my complaints the next morning, she only offered a 20% or so discount on my next stay at a Eurostars hotel. At that point I determined that despite having stayed at probably 12 different Eurostars, I would not stay at one again.. I did not even remotely feel that a positive guest experience for me was a priority for them or that I was worth them retaining as a customer. In the midst of this, a movie was being filmed in the hotel. While this may have been exciting for some guests, it was an inconvenience. I had to wait in-between takes to move around in the lobby. I had to wait 20 mins to get down to the car garage as the video village was blocking the elevator. The production assistants were shuffling me around telling me where I could walk or not walk. Again it just reinforced that positive guest experience was not a priority.

The location is unbeatable, local restaurants, drugstores around, mercadona just a couple of meters from the hotel, good size bedrooms, nice bathroom, overall good, just away enough from the noise of the central Madrid.

Toilet area, hasn’t air extraction system, the smell stays forever, I booked this particular hotel because of the pool, because I got kids, but, the pool is too deep for small children, and there no more than that to do for a kid.

Lovely room clean, and well positioned hotel. Breakfast was good although opened a little late on the weekend for my needs.
