Meteorite Rest Camp

Good location in between Caprivi and Etosha.

Got to reception which was locked and no one was there No answer via phone or text to the first number on there. Got through to one of the cleaners who arrived but then she also couldn’t figure out how to get into the reception so had to call in another person. Overall about a 1-2 hour wait to get our room, which after a long drive from the Caprivi was even more tiring. We were camping 4 nights in Etosha straight after so we were looking forward to some nice hot showers but there was no hot water available. AC in our room dripped copious water all night so had to move the beds so as not to get wet.

The location was comfortably close to the point of interest- the meteorite. The property was well equipped and neatly kept.

Absolutely gorgeous place with green lawns, friendly dogs, owls and lots of birds. Host is great. 100% 5 Star

Liked everything

We stopped here for a break from camping. The room was small but perfect. There is a lovely big garden. We had a refreshing swim in the pool.

Was very nice stay.

Wifi was not good
