Das Hotel bietet für Japan sehr geräumige Zimmer, sehr gepflegt, sehr leise Klimaanlage, zentrale Lage. Das Personal extrem hilfsbereit. Eines der besten Hotels dass wir in Japan bis jetzt besucht haben.

"It served its purpose being close to station and old town"

Breakfast was okay - nothing special. The location was great. Ten minutes walk from the station and five minutes from the old town which was stunning. Room size was ok - and clean. The hotel itself is a bit dated.

It was just a little underwhelming.

"Best hotel so far on our tour of Japan"

A great hotel for the price. It’s worth paying a little more to get a huge corner room. Excellent buffet breakfast and great location on the edge of the historic district. Also bike friendly- we were allowed to keep our bikes in our room.

"Enspannender Aufenthalt in Toplage"

Sehr gutes Frühstück, ausreichendes Angebot an japanischen und westlichen Speisen. Zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption. Sehr großes Zimmer mit 4 (!) Fenstern (eines davon ließ sich auch zu unserer großen Freude öffnen). Wir hatten das Glück, dass wir während des Haruyoi Akari Festivals (Springtime Evening Illumination) in Kurashiki waren, was wirklich sehr eindrucksvoll ist, besonders am Abend.

Der Frühstücksraum ist fensterlos. Das benützte Geschirr wird vom Personal an manchen Tagen abgeräumt, an anderen wieder nicht, je nachdem, wer gerade Dienst hat. Die Tische stehen zu nahe aneinander. Kein grüner Tee am Frühstücksbuffet (in Japan!). Eine gesündere Müsli-Mischung (statt gezuckertem Granola) wäre wünschenswert.

"もっと長居したいホテルでした！"

朝食にバラエティーがあり楽しく非常に満足のいくものでした。ツインルームでしたが欧州ではジュニアスイートにあたる広さと設備でした。古いながらも昔からの格式を保ち、エコロジーに対する姿勢も真剣なものでした。駐車場は屋外ですが、ホテルのすぐ近くにあり安心です。時間が許せばもう少し滞在を延ばしたい気持ちになりました。

バスルームの照明がちょっと足りません。ドレッサーがあり女性はそちらで十分な照明の中お化粧ができますが、バスルームにも髭剃りの際など照明は必要です。あと拡大鏡もあれば理想的です。 ベッドは問題ありませんが、枕が柔らかく一つしかないので個人個人の好みに調整しにくく眠りの質が下がります。とても残念ですが簡単に改善可能な点であることは幸いです。
